Good morning from the royal park in Monza from the world famous race track Autodromo nazionale di Monza. The weather is sunny, windless and dry with 14 degrees.
After the 1st race yesterday, the Speed-Center team with their driver Matthias Lüthen / Germany (The car had been damaged by an accident on Saturday) unfortunately not to go to the start.
The MAXX Formula field showed a lot of discipline at the start, which shows high professionalism of the drivers.
Wolfgang Jaksch set the pace at the top throughout the race.
However, there was a hard fight between Christopher Brenier / France and Kurt Böhlen / Switzerland in 2nd and 3rd place.
Then a break to the three chasers Anton Werner / Germany on position 4, Karl-Heinz Becker / Germany on the 5th position and Veronika Jaksch / Czech Republic on the 6th place. Continued insane times of Wolfgang Jaksch with his Super Aguri Formula 1, that car runs like clockwork.
Still 9 minutes to go.
Michael Grosse-Aschhoff / Germany with the replacement car ( Formula 3000 ) takes the 8th position in the 2nd race of the MAXX Formula .
Karl-Heinz Becker / Germany clearly fastest in the Masters class!
Anton Werner / Germany showed a great performance with the IndyCar. The experienced and successful ex-rally driver, showed that the change to this car has been successful.
Another 4 minutes to go Veronika Jaksch passes Karl-Heinz Becker and does not give up this position until the finish.
Wolfgang Jaksch drives his Super Aguri Formula 1 towards a safe start and finish victory.

Wolfgang Jordan, unfortunately had to park his car in the pits with technical problems.
Göthe already knew it, it is worth driving to Bella Italia! Also the MAXX Formula felt very comfortable in beautiful Italy, it was a great event in Monza.
The next round of the MAXX Formula will take place on 16.10-18.10 2020 at the Circuit Magny-Cours.
