F Xtreme Racing Team with driver Wolfgang Jaksch / Germany:
In the 2nd free practice yesterday some technical problems appeared, but the mechanics have solved these quickly under control. We are confident for today’s qualifying !
Team Speed-Center :
Matthias Lüthen / Germany ( GP 2 ) yesterday in free practice still fastest, but then with bad luck. At the end of the 2nd free practice Lüthen suffered a clutch and gearbox damage.
Team manager Markus Lehmann said: “The boys and girls worked a night shift to get the GP2 of Lüthen repaired .
All other vehicles of the Team Speed-Center are also ready for action.
Asche Racing with driver Michael Grosse-Aschhoff is also in the starting blocks. This weekend even 2 Formula 3000 cars are ready for him, because Felix Grosse-Aschhoff cannot start the race with a broken foot.
Easy Formula :
Fully operational again for qualifying, after Christopher Brenier with his Superleague Formula yesterday had a clutch damage. According to the chief mechanic Pierre-claude Gillier, both vehicles are fully functional today.
Becker Motorsport :
n the Becker team, driver Karl-Heinz Becker and vehicle are fully functional and hope for a goodualifying result.
H&A Racing :
Veronika Jaksch stil having difficulties getting used to her new GP 2 car.
Wolfgang Jordan without problems.
Teamchef Bernd Herndlhofer could not start this weekend on his Arrows A22 Formula 1.
Then right on time at 9:35 am, the qualifying of the MAXX Formula started in sunny weather, no rain in sight and 18 degrees Celsius.
Optimal weather conditions to set fast times on the high speed race track Monza / Italy in the asphalt. It did not take long before all the drivers were on the track. The time carousel was set in motion immediately. Anton Werner / Germany was the first to cross the finish line.
Closely followed by Christopher Brenier with 1.44.886. But the fight for the times continued.
Wolfgang Jaksch set a great time of 1.41.400 on the track. After 10 minutes of training, Wolfgang Jaksch improved again to a time of 1.38.409.
Matthias Lüthen set a time of 1.41.049 in his GP 2, closely followed by Kurt Böhlen with 1.42.084.
Christopher Brenier in his Superleague Formula burnt a 1.42.084 into the asphalt.
After half of the qualifying there was a red phase. All drivers came back into the pits and waited to the renewed release of the qualifying. Christian Eicke / Switzerland unfortunately had to stop his car after a fire.
After the qualifying was resumed, the time chase started again. Everyone gave his best.

Prestige Class: Wolfgang Jaksch / Germany in his Super Aguri F1 with a time of: 1.38.194
Advance Class : Matthias Lüthen / Germany with a time of: 1.38.062
Masters Class : Michael Grosse-Aschhoff / Germany in his F3000 with a time of: 1.44.797
